This has been a question that everyone will come to at one time or another. When you are young you find so many amazing discoveries…from “Where do eggs come from?” to “What great new things will mom cook?”
But no one ever discusses how to find our purpose in life? And that’s because today’s society has been taught to find the best way to make a living and that’s where the tricky part begins. That’s because making a living doesn’t always mean making a life.
With the Native American Teachings a life is relative to following the bent of your nature. In other words, what is it that you are really passionate about?
I know your mind is probably saying “How am I supposed to support my family with that advice?” Well, let’s just say everyone builds their own life with their own perceived concepts of what they deserve. In other words, if you think small, so will your world be small.
A very dear friend once said, “TallTree, the problem with the world is that they don’t have bigger dreams.”
If you truly look at the visionaries in the world, they were living, dreaming and thinking outside of the box. They used their creative genius to build their futures…and they did whatever it took to make those dreams come true. And that’s the dexterity and stamina that’s necessary for success.
So is there a guide to find our purpose in life?
And the answer is “YES,” but you really need to look deeper within your heart…for that is where it’s been hidden since the moment you took your first breath.
Everyone has a purpose! By living your life on purpose you inspire others to follow the bent of their nature…for that is where you will find your happiness and your well being.
