In his book “Prosperity Consciousness,” Fredric Lehrman says that ‘knowing that thoughts are creative is one thing, but – knowing HOW that works is something more …’
The Native American medicine wheel is a powerful tool that can show you exactly HOW to manifest anything, in a simple, step-by-step process.
The Process Begins With Knowing the Difference Between a “Want” and a “Need”
When you need something you can create it — because you find a way. But when you want something, it can be much more challenging. Why is that?
This is because when you have a need there is a clear mental vision, as well as a strong emotional attachment to making sure it comes to pass.
You need money to pay bills so you are capable of seeing that money and feeling the deeper emotional connection with it. You see no other option, therefore you have faith in yourself to get it done. You’ll find a way, no matter what…
Why Is It Harder to Manifest What You Want?
Perhaps you have a longing for something but are unable to create the clear mental image.
You may think to yourself, or even say out loud, “I want this, but don’t think that I really need it.” This produces inconsistent results, because you are not committed and you are sending mixed signals.
The four directions on the Native American medicine wheel provide you with the four steps of manifestation.
East (Clear Vision/Mental Image)
The east teaches that you must form a clear mental vision of what it is you want to manifest. This is because the sun rises in the east. It is the direction where the new day dawns; new beginnings start here.
You must be clear on what you desire and what you want. Develop a clear vision.
South (Purpose/Emotional Connection)
The south is where you begin your emotional development and relationship to what it is you want to manifest.
This is where you determine why it matters to you, the purpose of why you want to manifest, the “why” it is important. This is also where the “need” and the “want” is separated for most people.
This goes back to deserving. Deserve means “to serve”. Are you serving others in the process of your manifestation? Do you need to be doing that?
If you can say “Yes! Absolutely!” then you will begin to transform your want into a need.
West (Have Unwavering Faith That it Will Come to Pass)
As you begin to build momentum, your mind can plant doubt. Because of this your ego is desperate to hold onto control, to what is safe and familiar — to what it knows.
Faith is believing in something unseen. The sun sets in the west and the sky goes dark. That is why having unwavering faith is located in the west.
You may be in In the dark and yet you still have that faith.
Look back at all the times that this has happened; where you have manifested something in your life and you are aware that you ‘brought it’ to you with a sponsoring thought.
It could be as small as thinking of someone and out of the blue they called; or you got a card from them. Have you ever noticed that when you get a new car, then all of a sudden you see many of that same kind of car on the road? Where your attention goes, energy flows…
North (Gratitude/ Consider it Done)
Knowing that your manifestation is already done is the final step in the process. You need to remember that the physical world takes longer to catch up because thoughts travel quickly but in the physical world the energy is more dense and can take longer to materialize.
Think of it like an order placed online. When you go to Amazon and buy something you are already aware that you will receive it. You know it will be delivered soon and all you have left to do is wait for, and anticipate it.
What is it that you truly long for right now, and how is resistance showing up for you? Are you ready to move beyond that resistance?
