Will You Join Us in Meditating for Global Peace?

Meditation for Global Peace and Family of Man United Did you know that there are American Indians all across Turtle Island (the North American continent) who say daily prayers for global peace, harmony and the mending of the Sacred Hoop? It is true…and these prayers and daily ceremonies have been going on since the beginning of time.

And it is not only Native peoples who pray and meditate daily for peace and unity…there are many here on our sacred Earth Mother who continue to hold the vision of world peace.

As you read the Meditation for Global Peace, feel your heart — and your entire being — connected to the Sacred Hoop of life. Remember that we are all related, and that there is but one race…the human race.

One of our Elders said, “Everyone is someone’s son, or someone’s daughter…and if you hurt them they will feel pain, just like you. We all bleed the same color. We are all related!”

So, take a few minutes and read the following meditation from Christina Grace*…

MEDITATION FOR GLOBAL PEACE AND THE FAMILY OF MAN, UNITED

THE MEDITATION:

Close your eyes…… Breathe in deeply several times and experience your body relax…and your mind become still…….Continue to breathe deeply. Continue to quiet your mind…… This meditation is both a visualization and experiential process…….

Now see and experience yourself in a quiet surrounding, the beach, the mountains, the forest, the desert, wherever you go to ‘get away from it all’, wherever you go to experience peace. See and experience your surroundings. Experience the peace you are feeling as a rich, palpable presence, filling you, surrounding you. Experience a Peace so full, it is overflowing from you.

Now envision yourself with the one you love most in this world. Experience the depth of loving you feel towards the one you love so dearly. Is it a husband…a wife…a child… a family member… a beloved pet… a friend? Whoever it is, experience them in your heart now. Experience the depth of your gratitude, that you have had this marvelous opportunity to experience such love, such joy.

Now experience this profound sense of loving and gratitude in your heart, expanding out into the world. It is this extraordinarily profound experience of loving and gratitude in your heart that you will now take into the world, and with which you will enjoin to others.

Envision yourself as a Citizen of the World. Envision yourself as a Peacemaker. See yourself with loved ones, your friends and family, all of you holding hands. You reach out to your neighbors, and their friends and their families and see yourself holding their hands, all of us conjoined in Peace, and Love and Friendship and Forgiveness. And in this way we continue to reach out to each other, so that each of us in our neighborhoods, our communities, our cities, our countries, across the waters and around the globe are holding hands united in one purpose, that of creating an everlasting global peace, and flourishing for all of mankind…. A peace in which we and our families, our communities, our countries are safe for our children and generations to come, to live and to grow…. A planet where all may flourish…

Again, envision and experience our family of man united with one heart, one mind, in Peace, for the betterment, upliftment and caring of the entire human family, as we reach out around the world in friendship now.

Envision and experience yourself as a conduit of Love, Mercy, Grace, Compassion and Forgiveness… We each know that Peace must first begin within ourselves. So you forgive yourself for all judgments you have ever held against yourself, and you forgive yourself for all judgments you have ever held against others. And as you enter into this forgiveness, you know that as you forgive, so you are forgiven. And as humankind collectively enters into forgiveness, all judgment is suspended and lifted, creating room for Acceptance, Understanding and Compassion to live, and grow and flourish.

In having embraced Forgiveness, you release the past and all past judgments.

Now envision and experience yourself moving into Acceptance.

And from this place of Acceptance, what arises within you now is a Consciousness of Understanding.

And from this Consciousness of Understanding, a Consciousness of Compassion is birthed from within you.

And from this Consciousness of Compassion, birthed within you now is the Consciousness of Loving. ….

Experience the Loving Seed in your heart again flowing through you into the global family with whom you are holding hands with at this very moment, and with who you are energetically conjoined on all levels…..

And from this Consciousness of Loving, birthed within you is the Consciousness of Peace….

Again experience the Peace within you as a seed emanating from you, through the hands of those with whom you are conjoined, through all those with whom you are energetically conjoined around the globe…….

Now from deep space, envision our planet with a ring of Peace surrounding it… Experience the colors of it… Experience the frequencies of it. As we get closer to our planet, we see yet another ring surrounding it, within the ring of Peace and this is a ring of Grace. And as we get closer to the planet, we see yet another ring surrounding it, a ring of Compassion manifesting as Brotherly Love, a love of all Humankind…. And as we get even closer, we see that the next ring surrounding the planet is one of Understanding. And as we get even closer to our planet, we see that the closest ring is that of Love.

We see that this ring of Love, and all the successive rings radiating outward around our planet, the ring of Understanding, the ring of Compassion, the ring of Grace, the ring of Peace, emanate from each of us as an individual, from all of us as the collective human family– from the Forgiveness, the Acceptance, the Understanding, Compassion, Loving, and Peace we each hold in our hearts for ourselves and for each other.

And from this place of universal Loving and Peace, envision ourselves, our children, our families, our friends, our loved ones, our communities, neighborhoods, cities, countries, and our planet safe…. Envision the entire human family living, working, creating, playing together Joyfully, in Peace and Harmony, with an eternal focus of upliftment, well-being and flourishing, for all of humankind….. And so it is.

Stay in this space as long as you wish…Centering in your heart…Slowly coming back into the room when you are ready, back into your beautiful bodies…

Please feel free to share this Meditation….

Thank you for your participation.

With Peace, Love and Blessings Always,

Feeling Bummed Out? You Can Fix That With Simple Stress Reducers.

Feeling Bummed Out? You Can Fix That With Simple Stress Reducers.

“Anything Worth Doing is Worth Doing Poorly” by Jim Rohn.

“Shock city!” Right?
Doesn’t that sound like exactly what NOT to do?

We were taught that anything worth doing should be done well, or as perfectly as possible, right?  Who would want to do it poorly?  Our parents or teachers would have never approved that.
It’s definitely counter-intuitive.  Not what you would expect.

But then again, maybe it’s better than not doing anything.

Like take Sally, for example.  Sally wanted to write an article.  It would make her feel good about herself.  She knew it was worth doing, but then again, maybe she wasn’t ready.

Her internal dialogue – what she said to herself inside of her head – was full of all kinds of limitations, like: “Well, maybe I’m not ready.  Maybe I don’t really know enough.  I don’t have enough education.  I don’t know enough about it yet.  I don’t have enough experience with that.”  And on and on and on. (And on a really bad day, it might be: “I’m too old, too tired or just too fat.”)

So you can see the motivation was just gone by that time, and Sally did nothing at all!

feeling bummed out you can fix that with simple stress reducers 300x200 Feeling Bummed Out? You Can Fix That With Simple Stress Reducers.

She just talked herself out of it, and aced herself out of action that could really make a contribution, both to the world and to herself financially.  Oh, my.

What can we do here?  First, let’s talk about “self talk” or the language that’s going on in your head.  It can be very negative, can’t it?

How can you support yourself to take the action that matters, the action that will change your life?

So, one of the options that Sally had was this:
You have to change that attitude to have more confidence and move forward on the things that matter to you.

  • Where are your opportunities to relieve stress, and have more confidence, and believe in yourself – to be able to take those important actions?
  • What are the ways to reduce self judgment and negativity towards yourself?
  • How can you open up a sense of freedom and confidence and willingness to move forward – and do the things that you want or need to do?

One way is to use visualization or meditation as stress reducers, to release negativity and stress.

There are many approaches to meditation.

Breathing is one of the most simple forms of meditation that anybody can do.  There are actually hundreds of different kinds of breathing meditations available.

For now, we’ll start with the most basic breathing meditation, a classic.  It’s easy:

  • Get comfortable, quiet.  You can have your eyes open, but you may want to close them to focus more inside.
  • Simply focus your attention on your breath – and bring it back whenever you realize there are other thoughts coming in.  Just stay with your attention attached to your breathing.
  • Now, just let your attention follow your breath in and out.
  • Make no effort to change it.  Simply observe.  Notice the rhythm of your breath and the rising and falling of your chest.
  • Feel the feeling of the breath moving in and out of your lungs.  Notice how you feel at the end of the exhale.  Do you feel emptiness or space?  And how you feel when you start to breath in again.  And at the end of your next breath in.  Do you feel pressure or relaxed fullness?
  • If your mind wanders, simply place your attention back on your breath.  Do this as many times as you need to, without any judgement. Do it with ease.

  • As you notice your breathing, remember it does not have to be perfect.  You don’t have to make any effort.  You can do it any way you do it.  Poorly is fine, because no matter how you do it, it IS perfect.
  • Do this for about 5 minutes (start with at least 3 to get the full experience of settling in to your breath).

You will see the way your body breathes.

As you simply release any effort to control it, you allow it to be however it is (while giving it your full attention).
You will see that it will start to change.
You will start to relax.

Just having your full attention on your breath is focusing your mind in a way that releases all  other stresses  in your life. It takes your attention off the other worries of your mind.

When thoughts do come in, and as soon as you’re aware of it, you let them go, you are freeing yourself of stress.

Bringing your attention back to your breath gives a new awareness of yourself, of your rhythm.

Your attention is a gift.

It is a gift to yourself to focus it on your breath, or on anything positive of your choosing.

As a gift, you can give it to yourself for your relaxation, pain relief, and your own personal development.

You can give that to yourself every day, in the morning or evening,
or in any moment of challenge, whenever you need stress reducers.

How else can we support ourselves in this way?
How else can we give ourselves positive uplifting feelings?
What will raise our self-esteem, our confidence and our eagerness to participate in our own lives and give to others?

Another way that’s very simple and beautiful is The 21-Day “I Am a Gift to the World” Challenge.

The Challenge is an opportunity to realize the gift that you offer to the world just by being who you are.

You are naturally a magnificent being.
Just the way that you are now, without making any effort to be perfect or do it right, you are a gift.

If you want to know what your gift is and experience it, go to The 21-Day “I Am a Gift to the World” Challenge now, and open up your new life.

Do you ever beat yourself up in your mind (like most humans do), calling yourself names like “hopeless,” or “worthless?”  NOW you can change that.
If you ever feel that you are hopeless or worthless or anything bad, remember:… That is NOT true!

Honor what IS true about you by doing something you love.
Doing what makes your heart sing is your life purpose.

No one who can do it better than you, because that is your gift.
Without your gift (what YOU offer), something important is missing.  The world will not be the same!

The 21-day “I Am a Gift to the World!” Challenge is F*R*E*E,
and it is a wondrous adventure that people love to take.

In Loving Memory Poems: Is Writing Them Healing for Survivors of the 9/11 attack?

In Loving Memory Poems Dedicated To Family and Friends Lost In the 911 Attack

In Loving Memory Poems for Loved Ones Lost in the 9/11 AttackHow Do I Treasure You, Precious Love Of Mine?

How do I treasure you? How keep you close – without despair?
You will no longer be
Here to comfort me.
As I shake myself awake – up from the heavy dross of pain,
Of the knife that tears at my heart,
Of the grief, of missing you so much I ache…
I cry again, alone in my leaden hollow emptiness –

Until the white butterfly catches my eye.
It flutters by,
Encircling me in its whimsical angel wings,
Streaming with sparkling wonder energy,
Touching the song that fills my heart again,
Opening my face to this brimming smile

that reminds me …
That when I let you be,
When I let you go,
I see your glow.

Then I know…
You are always here –
Playing, dancing, gently loving, laughing…
Just as you always were in Spirit.
You are here
As soul.
I treasure you now – and the delight you bring when I open to you.

Your Presence fills me…
When I stand tall in my Self,
And know that, though you are not here now in body,
I am Not alone.
Your Love is with me.

And I know now, it always, always can be.

That’s my choice
It’s up to me.
I choose now – deep in every fiber of my being –
To hold you close,
And yet to set you free.
That is how I treasure you, Oh Precious Love of mine.

~~~~~
When we can release the pain and the stress that comes with the loss of our most beloved
family and friends in the 9/11 attack, the sadness remains.  However, entwined in every fiber of that sadness
and grief is the great love that birthed it.
As we learn to release the fear – and the pain – more, the Love shines through more, and fills us.
And it is so huge!  When we can open to it, we experience the Love more fully.
As human beings we are learning to live and hold the great blessing of that love.  And as long as we live,
we can open more and more to it.  May we learn to live filled with Love.  Filled to overflowing.
You may want to try writing in loving memory poems as a way to dispel the grief and to find
alternative healing for your pain.  Writing is a great release and opens up more space in the loving heart
of each of one.  Any kind of writing works, even if it is angry, or funny.  It brings freedom.
Another way to release pain, a great alternative healing approach to open and fill with the immense love
we have inside us, is guided meditation and relaxation.  Stress and tension can be released and flow out
of you in a very short time with a great guided experience.
Even grief will dispel with the deep relaxation this type of guided meditation brings.
How Can You Get Enough Sleep With Painful Fibromyalgia Symptoms?
Can you get deep healing sleep when you are in intense or chronic pain?
Sarah slammed the book shut.  She had had enough; she was gritting her teeth she was so mad.
Here we go AGAIN… It was a book on pain and all it told her was do this, do that and do, do, do more.
How Can You Get Enough Sleep With Painful Fibromyalgia SymptomsImage via Wikipedia
All Sarah could think was: ” I don’t want to hear anything else about what to do.
I don’t want to be told what to do!
I don’t want to be guided through what to do.
I don’t want to do anything more at all!
I have fibromyalgia and I’m in a lot of pain.”
She thought to herself, ” They should just tell you to get horizontal.
Get horizontal!”  As in, ” Lie down!”
Sarah was so exhausted she didn’t want to hear anything except how she could rest.
The pain was so intense it was hard for her to even relax enough to sleep.
But that’s what she needed most; that was all she needed.
SLEEP!
She just didn’t know how she was to get that sleep.
As it turned out, she spoke with the author of that book on pain and told her what she thought.  As the book was being edited for a new version, Sarah actually ended up giving her  input for it, and changes were made to address her concerns and frustrations.
It was clear to Sarah, to the author, and to everyone who she talked with that what she deeply needed was a better way to rest –
to get deeper, more restorative rest.
Difficulty getting meaningful rest and quality sleep certainly is a primary challenge for people with fibromyalgia symptoms.
So, how do you rest?
How do you get your best rest, especially if you’re dealing with pain?
This is THE big question – the most important thing to address.  This is the primary reason it’s critical to find some relief from the pain.
The biggest reason for pharmaceutical intervention, the drug therapies, is to be able to relieve the pain enough so that other more natural treatments, lifestyle modifications and balances can take place and be effective.
As a result of that pain relief, you can then have your attention present.
The pain relief is enough to allow you to do the other things necessary to relieve stress, release tension, avoid burnout and overwhelm, and to get things done efficiently.  You must be able to work without falling apart from fatigue, exhaustion and depression.
Sarah needed all of that that, a way to deeply rest.  Every one of us needs that!
Sleep is a primary need.
It is for everyone, but even more so if you are in great pain.  Getting really replenishing sleep, which is needed to repair, rebuild and recharge the body, is one of the great challenges of dealing with intense or chronic pain.  Treatment for pain has to be able to allow for the sleep irregularity that results from that pain.  One of the primary factors involved is being able to relax enough so that the pain can release or diminish.
The more tension there is, the more the pain gets locked in.
So it’s very important to find whatever ways work for you to relax and relieve this stress and tension.
Very powerful ways can be found in many different forms of meditation.  There are opportunities to experience tastes of these in posts in the Fibromyalgia Symptoms and in the Life Purpose categories.
Do you remember that THE biggest reason for pain relieving drugs, particularly with fibromyalgia, is to get enough relief so that the lifestyle changes and balances needed for healing can take place.   The pain relief then enables you to release stress and tension and to work without going into depression or burnout.
But first, on the physical pain component:
Many people experiencing fibromyalgia symptoms feel they have tried every natural remedy available and found it did not do enough.
But, have they?
Or have they given up and don’t believe there is anything natural available that will help significantly?
Have you tried Magnesium Oil?
Yes, oil, NOT pills.
Did you know that research is now showing that most of the population of this country is in serious magnesium deficiency.
According to research, magnesium deficiency is now epidemic.
It does not often show up on tests as a deficiency because magnesium is so critical to cell, organ and brain health that if there is not enough in the blood, it will be pulled out of the tissues and joints.
Some of the indicators of magnesium deficiency are difficulty sleeping – and relaxing, muscle spasms, lack of energy and pain of unknown origin.  Pain!
Many people take magnesium TABLETS or CAPSULES without noticeable relief from pain or improvement in sleep patterns.  It does NOT absorb well through the digestive tract and the necessary amounts can cause diarrhea and stress the liver.
Research and experience now show that transdermal magnesium that you spray on your skin absorbs much more readily and goes directly into cells.  Entering through the skin, instead of the digestive tract means it does not clog the liver or kidneys or cause diarrhea – as do high doses of magnesium pills.
There is a growing number of reports from patients with fibromyalgia symptoms that magnesium oil helps enormously to relieve their pain.  Some find significant relief within a day or two, for some it may be a few weeks.  Many report awareness of noticeable changes almost immediately, and major improvement within a few weeks or a month.
Liquid magnesium is not truly an oil, but it’ s a solution of natural magnesium chloride from ancient seas below the earth’ s surface.
It is natural and there are no reported side effects of any kind (except that it tastes bad to some folks).
If you want to look into this approach for yourself or a loved one,
Click this link: Magnesium Oil Therapy
Did you know that conditions linked to magnesium levels include:
Headaches, Muscle Spasms and Cramps, Fibromyalgia, Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia.
If you are willing and open to new awareness of yourself, You can do phenomenal things to affect your health and happiness.
Do you want to experience that for yourself now?
Can You Use Mindset in Fibrobromyalgia Treatment?
What Does Your Mindset Have To Do with Treatment for Fibromyalgia?
Part 1:  Choose the Mindset You Want to Have
Thick dark gray clouds darken the view, but it’s still visible: craggy, dull green hills, construction, traffic.  The plane is lifting off.  Suddenly, it’s in a cloud bank, cut off.  You can’t see anything outside but a lonely, light gray, cotton ooze.  It is closed in.
Can You Use Mindset in Fibrobromyalgia Treatment?Moments later, just as suddenly – and without warning, you come out above the cloud layer.  Now the brilliant sunshine lights up rolling bright green hills and reflects off the expansive, sparkling blue-green ocean.  It’s idyllic and beautiful.  All is well now.
Oh, no, more clouds.  It’s dark again.  It looks like nightfall.  You can barely see what’s out there.  It’s disorienting, ominous, even a little frightening.
  It’s like that – or it can be – with pain, and with any chronic illness such as fibromyalgia.  People say there are good days and bad days.  With some people (some conditions and illnesses), that goes for weeks and even years, too – good weeks and bad weeks, good years and bad years.
So, you’ve been doing really well for a while with your fibromyalgia treatment – almost forgot you had this condition.  You were working, living a normal life.  We call it “passing,” as in passing for normal.  It’s as if you didn’t even have this heavy-duty diagnosis – the one that once struck fear in your heart, because after all, it’s “incurable”, right?
You almost forgot you had it.  Maybe you even did forget, until recently.  Now you can’t forget because it’s back.  The pain, again.  It’s just seeping into everything, stealing your focus, putting a huge blanketing damper on your enthusiasm and your productivity.
What do you do now?  Where do you start?
How do you prioritize?
Are there ways to stop the pressure, the stress and the overwhelming fatigue?
  • First of all, don’t panic.  Choose the mindset that you want to have about it.
  • Second, take inventory of what you’re doing differently now, than you were before it came back.
  • Third, ask yourself this question:  Are you neglecting self-care in any way?  If so, what are you neglecting?
  • Listen to your body.  What does it need?
  • Do you need to get horizontal?  That means: Are you resting and sleeping well?
  • Check the physical things: nutrition, exercise, water, rest, body therapy/massage, gentle movement like yoga or tai-chi
  • Are you supporting yourself mentally and emotionally with meditation, relaxation, stress reduction?
  • And doing your inner work:  Do you need support?  What kind?
  • Remove negativity.  That means people, things, and tasks.  Anything that feels negative and takes you down emotionally.
So, in the mindset arena, remember that no setback has to be permanent.
Choose to see it from above the clouds, like the ideal landscape with sparkling sunshine.
Let that be your base reality with your fibromyalgia treatment and with your pain itself.
It can be.
After all, you have come out of it before.
You have come back from the abyss of pain and illness.
If you haven’t experienced improvement before, choose to believe and expect that you will now.  Your mindset has power to help the body heal faster.
Choose this mindset, because you can.
In this way you can empower yourself. You can become accountable for your health and give yourself the power to accelerate your healing  and ameliorate pain.
Stay tuned.  Make sure you don’t miss Part 2 of this series.
Part 2: Putting Your New Mindset into Motion will go into more detail and depth on how to shift your mindset.  It will focus on how to create a new mindset and put it into motion or activate it in your life.  Only you have the power to alter your experience of reality, and this is a major key.
Do Meditation Techniques and Other Mind Body Therapies Decrease Pain?
Four independent and recent studies have found that meditation is helpful in reducing pain.
The first, a recent study in the Journal of Neurosciences found that using a certain meditation technique can be a potent way to reduce pain. A short session less than 20 minutes is more potent than even the narcotic drug morphine.  The study was conducted at Wake Forest University’s Baptist Medical Center is to with other research that indicates relaxing and clearing the mind can reduce the perception of pain, but critics insist it is far too early to recommend that people experiencing chronic pain stop taking their analgesic medications.
The next study involved 15 volunteers learning a technique known as focused attention, in which one shifts his attention from distracting thoughts, through focusing on breathing.  The participants attended for 20 min. classes. It was conducted at the University of North Carolina and published in the journal Pain.
Prior to and following the meditation training, the participants were subjected to 5 min. and 55 seconds of relative pain.   A small patch on the subject’s right leg to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, and the participant used a six inch plastic sliding scale to port their level of pain.
MRI Reveals Brain Changes
MRI brain scans of volunteers, or the training show a lot of activity in the brain’s, the primary somatosensory cortex, but that disappeared after meditation training.
Every participant had some for meditating, but that was a wide variability among the participants, between 93 and 11%.
Also, because of the small size of the room only 15 practice and it is difficult to drugs and solutions from the sample. And the pain experienced by the participants, a burning sensation for a few minutes doesn’t compare to different types of pain that people experience.
Overall a study such as this one is adding to in every recent body of research indicating that even short periods meditation can have significant pain relieving benefits.
Lead researcher, Fadel Zeidan, said in a press release, “With meditation raining they would acknowledge the pain, they realize what it is, but just let it go.  They learn to bring their attention back to the present.”
Can Meditation Reduce Anxiety?
The second study, also published in the Journal of Pain,  found that a 3 day 20 minute per day mindfulness meditation program training caused significant reduction in pain sensitivity after meditation and anxiety, also.  The change suggests that meditation’s pain relieving effects are related to diminished anxiety and the enhanced ability to focus on the present moment.
The findings indicate that a brief 3 day mindfulness meditation intervention was effective at reducing pain ratings and anxiety scores when compared to pain perception prior to meditating and other cognitive manipulations such as math distraction.
Does Meditation Change the Pain Response?
The final report, conducted at the University of Montreal in Canada gave mildly painful electric shocks to 13 participants, that caused a knee-jerk reaction that could be measured by MRI imaging.  At the time the shock was given, the participants viewed a series of images that were pleasant, vicious, or neutral.  The researchers found that the pain of the shocks was perceived as being worse when the participants were viewing unpleasant photos.
These findings were published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
“Emotions–or mood–can alter how we react to pain since they’re interlinked,” noted Mathieu Roy, the lead author of the study.
“Non-pharmaceutical interventions–mood enhancers such as photography or music–could be used in healthcare to help alleviate pain.  These interventions would be inexpensive and adaptable to several fields.”
Miracle Monday: How Gambaru Twitter and Reporter Answer to Miracle Prayer in Japan Earthquake
Miracle Monday: How gambaru, Twitter and Reporter Answer Miracle Prayer in Japan Earthquake
Who wouldn’t fear for a loved one who’s in the midst of a natural disaster?
As people worldwide pour out good wishes and prayers for Japan, they especially fear for loved ones who are in the middle of the earthquake and tsunami recovery in Japan.
Even in the midst of recovery and fear, miracles abound.
Today Show reporter Ann Curry and a team went to Japan. One woman reached out to her. She sent out a plaintive tweet asking for help finding her sister.
Ann vowed to do her best. Here’s the reply.
Astoundingly, and truly an answer to miracle prayer, Ann Curry kept asking people in the town and found her. The sisters enjoyed a tearful and joyful reunion via phone.
Gambaru
Here’s an awesome tweet that will probably teach you a new word. This word is now part of my regular vocabulary, because it’s so important.
Particularly when going through tough times, doubt or fear, the quality of tenacity is critical. You can’t give up or lose faith.
That word is gambaru, which in Japanese has to do with persistence. It is a quality that has always served me well and that serves anybody facing seemingly insurmountable odds well.
Here’s the tweet.
GAMBARU in Japanese means: Never ever, ever give up, even and especially when there is no chance of winning.
When you expect a miracle, you don’t just pray or hope or wish and drop everything. Keep faith. Be persistent. Reach out for support.
If the woman who reached out to Ann Curry had not reached out, she might still be wondering if her sister was alive.
Joy all around!
Dealing with Signs of Stress
Support is all around you. But when you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed or afraid, it can be hard to realize and feel it sometimes.
If you are afraid for a loved one, here are some strategies to help you deal with the signs of stress.
1. Keep your mind under control. Don’t allow your mind to spin tales of horror about what MIGHT happen. Remind yourself to stick to the facts not the worse possible scenario.
2. Assume the best. After all, there’s no point expecting the worst or worrying; that’s not productive. So expect a good outcome. If you get evidence to the contrary, deal with it at that time.
3. Expect a miracle. Instead of building “Brain TV” movies about what could go wrong, ask yourself, “What if it all goes right?” Build images of finding the loved one, overcoming the diagnosis, or otherwise enjoying a joyful ending.
4. Reach out for support. Let people know what you need. That could mean sending a tweet to people you don’t know or simply giving your family a hug.
5. Practice relaxation techniques, such as taking a walk, doing a craft (like painting or knitting), enjoying your favorite activity, writing your feelings, praying or meditating.
While you expect a miracle, while you send light, love or prayers, and while you keep your faith strong, reach out. Let people know what you seek.
You just might have a miracle delivered directly to you!
Can Using Meditation Techniques Improve Your Health?
www.bestmeditationtechniques.com
ANY CHARACTER HERE
When I was a child, I often after playing with my neighborhood friends during the summer months, take a break and escape to my “cave” for a moment of deep dark silence.  I’d discovered the amazing feeling that happened while watching cartoons on a miniature projector I’d received for Christmas when I was 7 years old.
ANY CHARACTER HERE
The silence, darkness and peace that surrounded me was very special and rejuvenating.
ANY CHARACTER HERE
Little did I know until years later that during my regular escapes I was actually using a meditation technique!
ANY CHARACTER HERE
Do you meditate? It is one of the most commonly used complementary and alternative medicine therapies.
According to the most recent survey of the use of CAM in the US by adults
Meditation techniques are now a part of the mainstream in the United States, according to the latest polls.
ANY CHARACTER HERE
In 2007, the CAM therapies most commonly used by U.S. adults in the past 12 months were nonvitamin,
non-mineral, natural products (17.7%), deep breathing exercises (12.7%), meditation (9.4%).
ANY CHARACTER HERE
Among U.S. adults, the use of some mind body therapies increased between 2002 and 2007.
Specific mind body therapies showing increased use included: deep breathing exercises, meditation, and yoga.
Between 2002 and 2007, increased use was also seen for acupuncture, massage therapy, and naturopathy.
ANY CHARACTER HERE
Meditation Techniques including the relaxation response, progressive relaxation, mindfulness meditation and transcendental meditation all help the body to relax and have proven health benefits.
ANY CHARACTER HERE
So what are the benefits of using meditation techniques to improve your health?
Lowers your blood pressure
Enhances your brain’s functioning
Improves your immune system
Relaxes your muscles
Reverses and slows down the aging process
ANY CHARACTER HERE
Meditation techniques have a profound impact on our organs and physiology.  When using them they help to lower your blood pressure, strengthen your immune system, relax your muscles and slow down the aging process through stimulating what Dr. Herbert Benson, a Harvard Medical School cardiologist calls the, “relaxation response.”  This change in your body helps to reverse the impact stress, especially chronic stress has on it.  When you are relaxed, your body has the ability to heal and regenerate itself.  Your stress hormone levels are reduced, and your cells, return to a higher level of functioning.
ANY CHARACTER HERE
When you are stressed, as so many our in our modern world, on a regular basis, the high levels of stress hormones circulating through your body, eventually causes significant wear and tear that can contribute to development of  chronic diseases, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, cancer, insomnia, anxiety, depression, irritable bowel syndrome, metabolic syndrome (pre-diabetes), and many more.
Miracle Mindshift! Success Stories
Kevin Wilke "During the time I was using the Miracle Mindshift, out of nowhere significantly increased the money into my business while at the same significantly decreased the time I was working in my business.
So now, this is something that came out of nowhere because of this program.
And now... a new branding opportunity has opened and is going to be a great new income opportunity and a bigger business!"
- Kevin Wilke
Hear Kevin's LIVE Success Story:
Lynn Benjamin"Something so beautiful happens each day as I listen to the daily Miracle Mindshift. The best way I can describe the experience is simultaneously getting juiced up a vibrational level, or more, while getting settled right into, grounded into the center of my being.
Today, while listening to day 15, SEVERAL lights in the mansion turned on. A rapid download of aha's begin to make my heart feel different. I'm integrating now, and can say that I will now experience the four directions on a physical level, rather than having the four directions as just concepts. How part of the earth we are. I look forward to a deepening of this physical connection with the four directions.
Thank you for sharing your wisdom, I'm so grateful!"
- Lynn Benjamin
StacyQuinn"I went through the day 11 content, and I was hearing the same critical chatter in my mind. I realized how these rules, this previous programming was resisting my affirmations.
When I did my verbal affirmations, the chatter in my head was actually "talking" over my verbal affirmations. I was inches away from a mirror, looking directly in my own eyes, saying my affirmations and the voice in my head said:
"How could a gift to the world be so ugly?"
I was surprised by my own reaction. I started laughing. I mean belly laughing. I'm still laughing as I write this.
I don't know who that dude was but he's very rude and he's not my friend. I now know what he sounds like and how he talks.
I wanted to send this email to thank you. Because I'm not listening to that jerk anymore."
- Stacy Quinn
Monica_Leccese"I completed my first "Mindshift" after having battled the cacophony of voices and Master Trickster that seem to come along with changing thought patterns. I devoted a portion of each day to the practice, although not the same time each day: to the imaging, writing, and speaking of my declarations and affirmations. I recorded each "Gift" that I received and was sure to be grateful for each one, every day. By the end of the month my declarations were manifesting although not in an "overwhelming" manner. Still...at the end...I was so very grateful. I decided to commence another "shift" ...   I would create a circle, image my declarations, state them...but on a lesser scale than a full practice. After that decision I started to create a circle where I would light a flame to each direction. .......and that's when it happened......I shifted. I can only describe the feeling as the most amazing I have ever experienced: time, the world, my perspective...stopped; the energy rushing through me was so empowering it was nearly overwhelming. I had never before felt so alive, so en pointe in the moment, so...on...purpose. I had rubbed the magic lantern and the genie has held my hand ever since. I have been getting EVERYTHING I have been asking for, to the EXACT degree I have asked. Remember...you get what you ask for."
