She was sick and tired of her never-ending “To-Do” list. She just couldn’t keep up.
Sarah wondered how she let it get this bad. She felt overwhelmed and noticed she wasn’t completing a single task well.
It was as if she was on a treadmill, not making any progress. She was stuck.
Had she recognized the signs of stress she was building up from within, she could have avoided the panic attack that followed.
Sarah was frightened by the attack and knew it was time to find ways to get ahold of her emotions before she loses it again.
Do you ever feel like Sarah? If so, how do you recognize signs of stress before it’s too late?
- Take an Emotional Vacation
Most people don’t realize that their inner most thoughts are creating their reality. They believe analyzing the stressful situations and fighting against them will somehow make them go away, when in fact, they’re only attracting more difficult times to themselves.
In any way possible, find a feeling of appreciation for whatever is stressing you. If it is your job, for example, look for some positive aspects. Say things to yourself such as, “I am thankful I have a job. I know this is only a stepping-stone. Having this job will look good on a resume and will bring me greater opportunities in the future.”
It is impossible for you to feel appreciation and overwhelm related to a specific subject at the same time.
- But, I feel trapped…
It’s easy to focus on “what-is,” isn’t it? There are times you feel so stuck, it seems as though you’ll never get out of this agonizing situation. No matter how difficult it can be, continue searching for good feeling thoughts. In any way you can, go from feeling stuck to finding a bit of relief. Take baby steps and keep moving forward. Do your best to feel freer. When you see yourself as free, doors of opportunity will be opened.
- Stop trying to justify why you’re stressed
It feels good to share your story with others, doesn’t it? It’s nice to get sympathy from people and to feel like you’re not alone. When you feel bad, you want to explain why you feel this way, with all of it’s painful details.
You do not have to try to explain yourself to anyone. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. You are worthy of wellbeing and it is constantly flowing to you. Find relief and continue feeling a little better no matter what. In time, you will have everything you’ve been wanting and the stress will melt away because you now have the tools to get you through it.
Feeling appreciation for life and your role in it will significantly reduce your levels of stress. I encourage you to click on the picture below and take the FREE 21-Day “I AM a Gift to the World!” Challenge. Find relief while inspiring others!
Much love and blessings to you on your journey to discovering who you really are,
