Connecting With Honor and Choice

The gift of stillness … of simply being in the moment, in the experience … is the essence of honor, of respect.

In true stillness there is a oneness with surroundings, an attention that is not only focused outwardly with intent and purpose, but which is grounded … rooted deeply in the awareness of each moment.

The Native Elders describe the Sacred Principle of Respect as the gift of honor.

In becoming aware, they say, you honor that which you are aware of. You become attuned to your surroundings in the moment of your acknowledgment.

And you have the right … the choice … to change your thought process, your reaction, your response … to be aware of the best and most beautiful in the moment, rather than to settle for the distractions that may surround it.

Quieting your mind, clearing your heart, centering your spirit … rooting your body to the steadiness of the Earth with each breath, each touch … is your invitation to that awareness. This is when your awareness becomes a part of you.

This is when Creation is drawn to you … and you are drawn to Creation. In your stillness, you literally change your energy field to welcome the blessings which surround you.

In your stillness you are invited to become one with the world around you … and you connect with the best of the world’s essence.

Consider this week’s quote:

Connecting With Honor and Choice

When you connect with your natural surroundings, you may more easily find that stillness. In the rustle of the wind and the clatter of branches … the rush of the tide as the oceans move to the guiding hand of Grandmother Moon … Nature is seldom quiet, but always extends the invitation for you to choose awareness of the power of this moment.

The Four Natural Elements — Air, Water, Fire, Earth — are guides to discovering your inner stillness and balance … your direct connection with Creation.

A walk with these magnificent forces, in the guidance of The Four Brothers™ video series, may help you realize your connection … your stillness … the center of your own sanctuary, wherever you are on your path.

Bring within yourself the energy of the moment … the gift of stillness. Invite the energy of the natural world to connect with your spirit.

Here! In this centered moment, you are One with the world. You are its gift! The honor, the respect that you feel in this knowing is centered within you … and radiates out from you in grace-filled harmony.

Here! You are … magnificent!

Live on Purpose … Change the World!

Letting Go of Your Limits

You are a seeker. You are here, in this space, in this moment, because your heart calls out in yearning for the path of your creation. Whatever has brought you here, you are in this place, at this time, in perfect balance … in this moment.

The Ancient Ones taught that your skills are learned, a part of life, and a response to the demands of life and action around you. And they taught that flowing over, around, through those skills is the calling of your creation.

Quietly your calling waits, all through your following of many paths of skill and learning and discovery … until you find in quiet, in stillness, in looking inward, rather than seeking outwardly … the yearning of your heart.

When you let go of being defined by your skills, you open your heart to the brilliance of your true light.

This is your connection to the Fifth Sacred Grandfather … the Sacred Principle … of Humility.

This connection with your heart is celebrated with your embrace of patience … of kindness … of the realization that often you are much stronger in sharing kindness than you were in requiring correctness.

When you walk your inward path … that shining road toward Be-Coming as you were created to be … your heart expands. Your spirit awakens. You are no longer limited by the directions and requirements imposed upon you from the outside.

You are no longer bound by the expectations of ‘doing’ or ‘knowing’ … you choose to be open to the strength of your Be-ing. The universe connects with you and you with it.

Consider this week’s quote:

Letting Go of Your Limits

Your acknowledgment of where your limits have been opens the doors of your mind, heart and spirit to all of Creation. In the embrace of that connection, you become limitless.

The Four Brothers™ may help you discover your limitless Self. This three-part video is a walk with the Four Natural Elements — Air, Water, Earth, Fire. They will open doors within you … help focus your inward journey of discovery of your True Self.

Open your heart. Connect with your light. It’s all right to let go.

You Stir the Air of Creation

Noodin, the wind, overflows your basket … fills your blanket in billowing playfulness. It can fell the largest tree, or leave a single leaf clinging to a winter-dark branch.

It can make the trees dance, ripple the surface of an ocean, raise the sands of the desert to cover the light of the sun.

Yet it has no weight at all.

The Native Elders tell us this playful member of The Four Brothers™ — together with Water, with Fire and with Earth — reminds us of Wisdom.

Wisdom can cause tremendous change, yet is never a burden. It has no weight, no color, no odor.

Wisdom has no taste, but is sweet on the heart, gentle to the ear, kind to the skin.

True Wisdom, we are taught, comes in understanding that the real value is not in what you know … but in recognizing what you choose to take the time to notice.

The gift of this fourth of the Seven Grandfathers … Sacred Principles … is given in remembering to take yourself lightly. To awaken your senses to the people and objects around you, without feeling that you must take on their essence.

You have your own essence. You are unique … a gift to the world.

Consider this week’s quote:

The thankful receiver bears a plentiful harvest

Wisdom is expressed with your every breath … you stir the air of Creation.

As you become more aware of Wisdom in your connection to the Universe, your mind quiets, centers, focuses. Light enfolds you. The strength of discernment becomes a part of you, and how you express your presence in the world.

Take time to reflect your walk upon this Earth … your view of your time and experiences. Walk with theFour Brothers along the path of your life … receive their guidance. Dance in their playfulness, connect yourself to their strength.

See where you have come from … and notice — notice, with grace and generous love, where you are. You are a luminous being … whole and perfect. There is nothing about you which must be ‘fixed.’

You are in the perfect place. Your expression of thanks is the perfect music.

You will reap a rich harvest!

Earth Changes: How Can You Take Care of Mother Earth?

“All You Need Is Love” is a song that was written by John Lennon and credited to Lennon/McCartney.

Well, the same goes for our Mother Earth… all you need is love.

how-can-you-take-care-of-mother-earth

The environmental destruction that continues to go on day after day comes from being disconnected — and most people aren’t even aware of it.  It’s not easy to change your behavior until you have awareness.

As Native people, loving the Earth is as natural as breathing.  It’s not something we work at, so it’s difficult for us to understand how people don’t recognize that everything they do to the Earth, they do to themselves.

Every plant, animal, bird, fish and insect is a beautiful part of Creation.  Our elders say that without the animals, we would die of loneliness…

Each and every action you take has a definite, long-lasting effect on all living beings.  You may not be aware of it, but you are intimately connected to everyone — and everything.

Right now, there are unseen forces working together to guide and protect you.  Some people refer to these as ‘angels’ while others call them ‘spirits.’

Do you know how to listen to and ‘hear’ all of life speaking to you? Wouldn’t you like to know what it is saying?

If you’d like to learn more about how to openly communicate with the loving forces in Nature, we created a video called “The Four Brothers.”Four Brothers DVD - The Three Arrows of Power by Chief Robert TallTree and Terri Lynn TallTree

Do you love the Earth?

You say you do… in fact, most people you ask would say “Yes, of course.”

So what are you doing to show your Mother Earth some love?  How can you take care of the Earth Mother?

You can always start small. You don’t need to take on everything at one time — and starting with one thing is a GREAT beginning.

Waste…

Waste can mean so many things. How about we start with using less plastic.

Have you ever thought of ways to get around using less plastic?

Yes, it might seem hard at first, and there are some things you may not be able to avoid using that are plastic.  But you really CAN make a big difference with just a little effort…

Take a moment and look through everything you have. If it is plastic:

  • Are you able to recycle it?
  • Do you recycle it?
  • How can you reuse it as many times as possible?

You know that the reality is that you cannot entirely avoid plastic. The world has made it such a part of your life.  It’s up to you to make conscious choices.

Here are a few ideas on how to change using plastics:

  1. Get milk in a paper carton — not a plastic jug
  2. If you get ice cream try to get in a paper carton not plastic tub (If you use a plastic tub reuse it.  Why not make it a compost bucket?  We keep one under our kitchen sink.)
  3. For your ink cartridge  instead of throwing it away and getting a new one go get it refilled (not only are you saving the earth but you are saving yourself money!) and have it recycled.

Those are just a few ideas.

You can go to a cool place to learn 20 ways to reuse old plastic bags: CHECK IT OUT HERE

Show your Mother Earth some LOVE and start looking at new ways to use what you have.

And, on a much deeper level, awaken to the awareness that you are connected to all living things.  Start living in a more thoughtful, conscious way so you can experience the beauty that is your birthright.  When you see how much life is trying to communicate with you, you will be changed forever!

You are a gift to the world!

Kevin Wilke "During the time I was using the Miracle Mindshift, out of nowhere significantly increased the money into my business while at the same significantly decreased the time I was working in my business.

So now, this is something that came out of nowhere because of this program.

And now... a new branding opportunity has opened and is going to be a great new income opportunity and a bigger business!"

Lynn Benjamin"Something so beautiful happens each day as I listen to the daily Miracle Mindshift. The best way I can describe the experience is simultaneously getting juiced up a vibrational level, or more, while getting settled right into, grounded into the center of my being.

Today, while listening to day 15, SEVERAL lights in the mansion turned on. A rapid download of aha's begin to make my heart feel different. I'm integrating now, and can say that I will now experience the four directions on a physical level, rather than having the four directions as just concepts. How part of the earth we are. I look forward to a deepening of this physical connection with the four directions.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom, I'm so grateful!"

- Lynn Benjamin

StacyQuinn"I went through the day 11 content, and I was hearing the same critical chatter in my mind. I realized how these rules, this previous programming was resisting my affirmations.

When I did my verbal affirmations, the chatter in my head was actually "talking" over my verbal affirmations. I was inches away from a mirror, looking directly in my own eyes, saying my affirmations and the voice in my head said:
"How could a gift to the world be so ugly?"

I was surprised by my own reaction. I started laughing. I mean belly laughing. I'm still laughing as I write this.

I don't know who that dude was but he's very rude and he's not my friend. I now know what he sounds like and how he talks.

I wanted to send this email to thank you. Because I'm not listening to that jerk anymore."

- Stacy Quinn

Monica_Leccese"I completed my first "Mindshift" after having battled the cacophony of voices and Master Trickster that seem to come along with changing thought patterns. I devoted a portion of each day to the practice, although not the same time each day: to the imaging, writing, and speaking of my declarations and affirmations. I recorded each "Gift" that I received and was sure to be grateful for each one, every day. By the end of the month my declarations were manifesting although not in an "overwhelming" manner. Still...at the end...I was so very grateful. I decided to commence another "shift" ...   I would create a circle, image my declarations, state them...but on a lesser scale than a full practice. After that decision I started to create a circle where I would light a flame to each direction. .......and that's when it happened......I shifted. I can only describe the feeling as the most amazing I have ever experienced: time, the world, my perspective...stopped; the energy rushing through me was so empowering it was nearly overwhelming. I had never before felt so alive, so en pointe in the moment, so...on...purpose. I had rubbed the magic lantern and the genie has held my hand ever since. I have been getting EVERYTHING I have been asking for, to the EXACT degree I have asked. Remember...you get what you ask for."
